Four Group has made a donation to the British Heart Foundation to support Mick Helps, Principal Planning Manager of Laing O’Rourke. Aged 50, Mick is undertaking three of Europe’s most iconic swims in the memory of a lifelong friend, who recently died of heart disease at a young age.

This is a huge challenge, which includes swimming between three Continents (Europe, Africa and Asia) in the Gibraltar Strait in May, swimming the English Channel in mid August and, finally, Hellespont in late August 2016.

Mick says: “To have the opportunity to undertake such an incredible challenge in my land mark year is a dream come true and one I am determined to experience”.
